Technology and Research Center : (ATRC) was founded
in 1992 on the California State Polytechnic University,
Pomona campus. The intent was to provide outreach support
and direct services to operating apparel manufacturing and
contracting businesses. Realizing that most businesses
are small, fashion oriented and labor intensive, activities
of the ATRC were planned in relation to the needs of California
and West Coast apparel companies in an effort to upgrade
their operations to improve their competitiveness.
