Activities undertaken by FashionG
under FFTT banner as
1) Interactive talks show on between fashion, media at India Habitat
center.. Chief Guest was Mr. L.V. Saptrishi (Executive director of NIFT),
attended by audience of aprox 350 delegates from India ad abroad and 7
sponsors.
2) Seminar on Global scenario at YMCA attended by Mayor of Kanpur
and Chief Guest was Dr. Isthaq (Dir. of NITMA). Presided by 22 eminent
personalities of garment and textile trade. Sponsors were 4 this time.
3) Magical Fashion Show and Fashion Excellency awards ceremony at
Mavalankar hall .Presided by Former chief Guest of Delhi Mr. Sahab Singh
Verma. Awards are given to many prominent personalities of trade and Magic
show was done by Great Smarat Shanker. Show was grand success with 25
sponsors and attended by more than 2500 audience. Show was live on IN
cable
4) Inauguration of "Handbook
Of textile Technical Data for Indian Garments Exporters" by Mr.
L.V. Saptrishi (Ex.Direcor of NIFT)
5) Seminar on "Fashion and Media role" on 26trh July at YMCA.
Presided by Payal Jain, Famous Designer and others.
6) The Forum arranged a visit for the textile science students from Delhi
(India) fashion institutes to the Technological
Institute of Textiles & Sciences (TITS), Bhiwani, Haryana (India)
. The students acquired lot of knowledge & skills pertaining to fabric
analysis, testing, weaving, spinning yarn construction and computer aided
textile design.
7) Many articles, (more than 10 )got published in leading magazines of
fftt members and directors.

8) 120 students/members got placement in industry since its started its
activities.
9) Members put on display unique
collection cum Exhibition organized by FFTT/BETTER LIVING at Royal House
from 1st Oct’98 till 20th Oct ’98.
10) FFTT opening of its first branch at Hong Kong for global placements
and projects .Its Director visited leading chain on there invitation from
23rd march till 4th april’98.
